GCDFP-15 (Gross Cystic Disease Fluid Protein 15) (Breast Marker) (PIP/1571) , 0.2mg / mL
This antibody recognizes a protein of 15 kDa , identified as Gross cystic disease fluid protein 15 (GCDFP-15). It is a major protein component of benign breast gross cysts. It is a known marker of breast cancer , as it is found in approximately 50% of all breast cancer specimens. GCDFP-15 , also known as PIP , for prolactin inducible protein , is a prolactin and androgen controlled protein. This antibody is useful in the identification of metastatic breast carcinoma , or fluid analysis.Primary antibodies are available purified , or with a selection of fluorescent CF® Dyes and other labels. CF® Dyes offer exceptional brightness and photostability. Note: Conjugates of blue fluorescent dyes like CF®405S and CF®405M are not recommended for detecting low abundance targets , because blue dyes have lower fluorescence and can give higher non-specific background than other dye colors.
